A Memorable Installation Evening at Loyal Manor Chapter No. 6445

There was a real sense of occasion at Loyal Manor Chapter No. 6445 on Tuesday 6th October, as we gathered to mark the beginning of a new Masonic year, with the Installation of our three Principals and Officers.

Adding to the significance of the evening, we were honoured by the presence of the Provincial 2nd Grand Principal, accompanied by the Provincial Grand Registrar, Provincial Grand Standard Bearer, Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies and two Provincial Stewards.

At the heart of the evening was the ceremony of Installation, which was delivered with confidence and sincerity. EComp Brian Barton began proceedings by installing EComp Brian Sharrock into the 1st Principal's Chair, who in turn installed EComp Chris Barrett as 2nd Principal, before EComp Barrett completed the succession by installing EComp John Halford as 3rd Principal.

With our three Principals duly installed, attention turned to the appointment of the Chapter officers. A positive and encouraging indication of the Chapter's strength was underlined by the appointment of several Companions into offices for the first time.

The Festive Board provided excellent food, good humour and lively conversation, bringing members and visitors together in the true spirit of Royal Arch Masonry. Occasions such as these remind us that, while our ceremonies and traditions are central to what we do, it is the friendships we build and the experiences we share that make our Chapter so special.
